Curriculum

Dunamis Christian School is a co-ed school offering English as our language of learning and teaching (LOLT)

At Dunamis Christian School we follow the national Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS), with English as our language of learning and teaching (LOLT). You will find that we embed our curriculum in strong Christian values, encouraging each learner to discover and live out their God-given purpose.

We believe in the holistic development of each learner. Our school boasts small, warm classrooms with individual attention where dignity, honesty and respect form part of the core values in the ethos of the school. We believe in the future of our learners and aspire to see each individual excel in excellence, affecting and influencing the world around them and becoming an integral part of their communities.

We strive to create and maintain an interesting, stimulating and challenging learning environment through various learning activities. These activities require the sharing and exchange of ideas through initiative and creative contributions, giving the learners the opportunity to work together in groups to demonstrate their newly acquired knowledge and skills.

We are excited about education and we look forward to partnering with you and your child on this epic journey of learning.

Why Study Here?

Here at Dunamis Christian School we aim to do education differently. We aim to educate and develop children holistically and individually. The heartbeat of the school is for each learner to be provided with ample opportunity and room to grow into critical thinkers and future leaders. In our ever-changing society we need to raise a new generation of problem-solvers and innovators.

“Train up your child in the way they should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Our discipline policy at Dunamis Christian School aims to apply Biblical principles to the correction of children, in order to develop Christ-like character. We believe that the word discipline is rooted in the Biblical word/concept of disciple. Therefore our discipline will always focus on the mentoring of children to develop strong character and empower them in decision-making.

One of our late founder’s mottos in life was “Training for Reigning” and this is what we strive for at Dunamis Christian School; to train up learners with character and integrity that are able to rule and reign, building a successful future for our country. Our learners today are our leaders of tomorrow!

Education at Dunamis Christian School is grounded in a firm Christian ethos and starting the day off in prayer is a vital part of our day. We have weekly assemblies and devotions where pastors and leaders from our local church engage with learners on a spiritual level, sharing the Word of God and instilling Godly values and principles.

“a teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”
